We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-time Purchasing Coordinator to manage the purchasing operations for our embroidery team. This role serves as a key liaison between our supplier, showrooms, and sales representatives to ensure timely and accurate order processing, shipment tracking, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-time Purchasing Coordinator to manage the purchasing operations for our embroidery team. This role serves as a key liaison between our supplier, showrooms, and sales representatives to ensure timely and accurate order processing, shipment tracking, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete data entry on new launch items and ensure accuracy of data in company systems
- Work with embroidery design team to finalize and submit paid client orders to the supplier following company regulations
- Complete and track shipments of all components of custom project to supplier for production initialization, as well as the production of the strike off and final product
- Monitor and follow up on supplier orders and shipping status.
- Communicate with suppliers, showrooms, and sales representatives to resolve order-related issues.
- Track and troubleshoot shipments, delays, and returns.
- Review and confirm accuracy of supplier invoices; submit invoices internally to the accounting department and track remittances.
- Provide purchasing and shipping summaries to internal stakeholders as needed.
- Assist communications and support for other categories of the purchasing department.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or operations (textile or home industry experience preferred).
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with order management systems.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
