We are currently seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented team member to join the Sample Department at our Owings Mills, Maryland warehouse. The Associate will support day-to-day operations that involves cutting, finishing, and assembling samples, as well as, order fulfillment and distribution. This role requires a willingness to learn and a focus on accuracy, productivity, and teamwork in order to meet the demands of our fast-paced multi-tasking environment.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Primary Responsibilities
- Organize, assemble, and prepare samples to Holland & Sherry quality standards, following specific procedures based on sample size and maker
- Collate and restock samples; maintain inventory, conduct occasional audits and reorganization
- Pull fabric, wallpaper and leather samples for daily orders in timely and efficient manner. Assist with packing and shipping orders as needed
- Support new product launches for US and international showrooms, preparing and organizing large quantities of samples in a deadline-driven environment
- Use over-lock sewing machine
- Assist with cutting samples as needed
- Maintain sample department organization and upkeep
- Work with other team members to achieve department goals and maintain a positive work environment
Qualifications
- Experience in sewing or textiles a plus
- High school diploma/GED
- 1-2 years relevant experience
- Ability to work as a member of a team towards a common goal
- Ability to thrive in a multi-tasking fast-paced environment and comfortable shifting between tasks, changing priorities, and deadlines
- Comfortable working in sitting position doing repetitive work
- Enjoys working with hands
- Able to climb stairs and ladders
- Must be able to comfortably lift 20 pounds
